Originally starting as a trainee accountant, I grew distant as the reality kicked in that this wasn't the direction I wanted to pursue.I discovered Dental Nursing and came to understand that this is where my passion lies. Through my studies, I realised that I wanted to expand beyond the scope of nursing and aim to further develop my skills within this industry.That's when I set my sights on Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Shortly after qualifying as a Dental Nurse, I was accepted into the newly developed Dental Hygiene and Therapy degree at the University of Suffolk.Currently, I serve as a class rep in my first year. Being the first cohort for this degree, I am continually amazed by the reality of what I've achieved so far.Recently, I’ve collaborated with celebrity Dental Therapist Cat Edney on an article featured on Dentistry.co.uk. Additionally, I've been interviewed by the BBC through TV, radio, and newspaper appearances. I anticipate the upcoming years of this program.
