I spent most of my time in school studying to be a Social Studies Teacher, but I decided that teaching was not the career that I wanted. Following Graduation from Ithaca College with a Bachelors in History, I spent 90 days volunteering as an English Teacher in Buenos Aires Argentina. When I returned home to Bryn Mawr/Havertown Pa, where I grew up, I found a job as a project director in a small market research firm called TMR Inc. While working as a project director I became interested in web development and started some small projects on my own time. I began applying for positions in web design, but in Spring and Summer of 2009 the job market was almost non-existent. I left my job in Market Research to pursue more freelance web development projects. My first sales came from walking up and down the local strip of stores and leaving business cards. After a few months of full-time web development, I became interested in Search Engine Optimization, Google Ads and other forms of internet marketing. Since then I have offered a combination of web development and internet marketing services. My best results come from websites that I build from the ground up specifically for finding new internet customers, but I also manage the online marketing for companies that use another webmaster/web developer.In December of 2010, I met with another web developer and branding consultant who has helped take my development and marketing services to the next level under the name Boom Visibility. Since 2010 Boom Visibility has steadily grown to staff 7 full-time employees and shifted from mostly local businesses to larger regional and national brands. My role in Boom Visibility today is to help onboard new clients and serve as the primary strategist for our client's digital marketing campaigns. I also take a hands-on role in most of our clients Google Ads campaigns.
