I am currently completing my final clinical placement at Raise the Bar Psychology under the supervision of Educational and Developmental Psychologist Dr Kate Jacobs.

Research Assistant (RA) in the Suicide Prevention Research Unit at Orygen, led by Professor Jo Robinson, within the Centre for Youth Mental Health at the University of Melbourne. The unit has been operating for almost 20 years and is internationally-recognised for its work in youth suicide prevention across school, community, clinical and online settings. As a lead RA on several projects, I have contributed to studies employing a range of methods: Delphi expert consensus studies, systematic reviews, participatory co-design and intervention evaluation studies, including an RCT of a suicide prevention intervention delivered entirely via social media. Our team led the development of a world-first, best practice framework for youth partnerships in suicide prevention research. In 2023 and 2024, I was the lead RA on a nationwide survey of young people's self-harm and suicide-related social media use.

- Coordinated and led a 12-month participatory co-design program which sought to design and deliver a national youth mental health stigma reduction campaign. This program led to the successful development of Visible, a creative national campaign which brings together young people with lived experience of mental ill-health and the arts. - Coordinated stakeholder engagement, building long-term relationships with young people, mental health clinicians, research and evaluation professionals and senior headspace national office staff.- Supported and led a team of 14 young people with lived or living experience of mental ill-health from across Australia.- Convened a national steering committee comprising staff and youth representatives from nine leading mental health agencies: Batyr, Beyond Blue, Black Dog Institute, Butterfly Foundation, Consumers Health Forum of Australia, Mind, Orygen, ReachOut and SANE Australia.- Supported the engagement, wellbeing and mental health of youth advocates, guided by the Senior Clinical Advisor and the Cultural Practice and Diversity Advisor.

- Alongside a team of headspace National youth advocates, we received funding from Viva Energy Australia to deliver a project that saw 200 young volunteers across Australia undergo free training in mental health first aid.- Facilitated over 100 hours of free, in-person mental health first aid training with groups of young people with lived experience in metro and regional areas across Australia, including Melbourne, Shepparton, Adelaide, Perthand Alice Springs.- Taught skills on how to assist adolescents who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

- In partnership with Sara Strachan, a team of LGBTQA+ youth peer workers, and headspace National Office clinical leaders, we designed and developed a free online peer support patform.- Facilitated fortnightly online peer support sessions.- Coordinated and supported a team of LGBTQA+ peer support workers.- Presented an evaluation of Qheadspace at the International Conference on Youth Mental Health in Dublin, September 2017.- Supported by headspace National, Qheadspace continues to run free weekly group chats facilitated by lived experience peer workers available to any queer, trans or questioning young Australians with an internet connection.

- Supported the development of clinical and educational resources alongside a team of mental health clinicians and young people with lived experience.- Facilitated a process enabling young people to review headspace clinical resources.- Supported national clinical practice projects at headspace National Office.

The headspace Youth National Reference Group (hY NRG) is made up of a diverse group of young Australians of varying ages, genders and cultural backgrounds.The group represents each state and territory and advise headspace to ensure young people's voices and opinions remain front and centre in all of headspace’s national programs, projects and services.

- Project assistant to the research team leading ‘Trans20’, a 20-year prospective longitudinal cohort study led by Associate Professor Ken Pang. Trans20 aims to understand the demographic and clinical characteristics of Trans and Gender Diverse young Australians who attend the RCH Gender Service (RCHGS), to document the natural history of gender diversity presenting in childhood and to investigate long-term outcomes for those receiving interventions via RCHGS.- Completed literature reviews, collected survey data, supported data analysis.- Liaised with and maintained positive relationships with young people, their families, as well as clinical and research staff.

- Facilitated participatory co-design workshops in local schools across Moonee Valley with LGBTQA+ high school students, which led to the development of the MVCC Queer Youth Group.- Facilitated the MVCC Queer Youth Group, providing individual and group support.- Facilitated FReeZA program - a youth development program that enables young people to lead their own music and cultural events in their local community.- Strong focus on social support, mental health promotion and self-care, advocacy skill development and social inclusion.
