I've been in marketing & sales since I was a teenager promoting punk rock concerts. Along the way I have either owned, managed or started restaurants, pre-sort mailing houses, ice cream stores, internet technology businesses, a charter school, a land development partnership, and a promotional products business.I’m good with vertical learning curves and can work alone or in teams. These days I enjoy the creative process of working with strong groups of self confident and motivated individuals towards achieving common goals.Specialties: While I have worn many hats as an entrepreneur, my focus has been on product management, public relations, sales, and strategy. My legal training focused on mediation and negotiation skills, augmented by a couple of years working in the Public Defender's office. My time in public education as a board member for the San Diego Cooperative Charter school taught me how to navigate bureaucracies with your stake holders in tow.
