A qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with PwC, London, full-time MBA from Cranfield School of Management, post-grad diploma in Marketing... was a Finance Director of global company before setting up the Health & Wellbeing charity 'Climb Your Mountain' www.climbyourmountain.org in 2008 which is still running.In 2016 I became a qualified Mountain Leader and set up The Mountain Coach www.themountaincoach.com offering a wide range of outdoor hikes, challenges and adventures throughout the UK to thousands of people.In November 2021 was diagnosed with stage 3 Head & Neck cancer…. 7 weeks of Radiotherapy & Chemotherapy on the ‘Torpedo’ trial. Persistent cancer diagnosed in June 2023 so neck dissection surgery to remove…. In June 2024 I launched ‘Livedinsights’ where people with lived experience of a range of health topics (Cancer, Menopause, Depression, Anxiety, Bereavement, Dementia, ADHD and Childbirth) can share their insights. Additionally, I am a confident public speaker and can deliver talks on a range of topics related to Health, Wellbeing, Resilience, Motivation and the Livedinsights topics.
