On top of the knowledge I had gained from Greece, Cyprus and Egypt, I extended my knowledge of popular holiday destinations within the UK, Europe and Worldwide during this role. My love of travel has meant that some of the holidays I have sold during this time are places I have since traveled to which enhances my knowledge further. To improve my knowledge of the travel industry further, I trained as a foreign exchange consultant to be able to provide my clients the full service from their holiday to their currency requirements. Sales and Customer Service targets were a major aspect of my job and using my previous experience abroad, I was able to adapt this when dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone when booking holidays and dealing with queries relating to these holidays. This is something I still use and have adapted further when dealing with customers in my current role. Show less
