As a biology autoclave and media prep worker at Haverford's biology department, I am responsible for operating and maintaining autoclaves to sterilize tools, as well as preparing buffers, McConkey agar plates, and other media required for laboratory experiments

The project involves analyzing humpback songs across various years and geographic regions. Its objectives include identifying humpback whale sounds within recordings, categorizing these vocalizations or units, and potentially discerning individually unique calls. I conducted an analysis on gathered data, which will serve as the foundation for training deep learning models. These models will possess the capability to recognize humpback whale sounds, classify different types of calls, and delve into the underlying structures of the songs. The overarching objective is to achieve a more profound comprehension of the purpose behind these vocalizations.

Examined dolphin vocalizations to decipher the potential information conveyed by their calls. Furthermore, leveraging deep learning models enables the processing of extensive datasets, a capability previously unavailable. Precise recognition of dolphin sounds enhances passive acoustic studies, enabling the identification of dolphin presence in specific locations solely through their acoustic signals.

Utilized genomic analysis methods to forecast antibiotic resistance in M. tuberculosis bacteria, facilitating global hospitals in promptly and precisely determining suitable medications through genome analysis of individual infections. Applied fundamental biology knowledge to analyze bacterial culture plates effectively, showcasing the application of theoretical comprehension to real-world laboratory scenarios. Expertly recognized bacterial species and interpreted growth patterns, enhancing precise data gathering and analysis.
