Charlize Veritas Email and Phone Number
Greetings! My name is Charlize Veritas and I have 25 years of experience in IT. I have mostly been a part of the Service Center or Help Desk, but in the last several years I have worked as DevOps using PowerShell to automate fixes for the Helpdesk as well as a Systems Administrator of SCCM. While working for U.S. Bank I developed a tool that combined 63 individual scripts I had created from knowledge base documents into an easy to use, one click GUI. The tool would pool together data from the remote unit, active directory, and the inventory management system to provide the techs with an instant snapshot of the unit’s information as well as that of the user. It also was a single point for them to access other tools and links to knowledge articles or company systems. After my time at US Bank, I became a Systems Administrator at CoVel, Inc. There I used my extensive PowerShell knowledge to clean up the DCMs in SCCM. I increased compliance numbers and converted anything written in VB Script to PowerShell. I created software packages that were self-configuring. During COVID-19, we had to move our employees to a work from home situation. The company was using Cisco IP Communicator at the time, but the install required the Helpdesk to remote into each computer and complete the configuration as an administrator which was extremely time consuming. I scripted the install to create the users SEP ID as well as configure the application to work through an RDP Session and add the appropriate Firewall Rules. This helped migrate our user base to work from home more quickly and smoothly. I also created stored procedures in SQL that Service Now used to create reports such as Bitlocker Compliance or DCM Compliance. I also wrote a DCM to add a WMI class to our workstations that populated daily with local administrator accounts so that SCCM could collect this data and report it to Service Now. I seek to find a challenging position that will capitalize on my work experience and creativity.
