I began as a waitress, working my way up to head waitress in this popular local restaurant. During my time at university I worked at Topsey Turvey's during the holidays.My role involved organising the restaurant, ensuring everyone was having a pleasant experience. I helped lead the team of waiting staff, and ensuring that communication flowed between the kitchen and restaurant.

I worked as Student staff. My time was split between the kitchen and the Starbuck's in the union. In the kitchen my reponsibilties included ensuring safe practices, meeting the high demand for food and keeping good communication throughout the kitchen.During my time at Starbuck's my roles included making a high number of coffees in a short amount of time, all of them being up to the strict quality standards that Starbuck's hold. Communication was also necessary here, as was being confident in a high stress environment.

This was my first job at the age of 14. I worked as a waitress during the school holidays and weekends.
