Planning and supervising building of the nursery at Pigeon Wood Field station, managing of the budget for the project, locating, mapping and monitoring wild plant populations, development of techniques to propagate rare plant species, protocols for field genebank and re-introductions, training of staff.

Plant production for restoration of Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve, training of Mauritian staff member to eventually supersede the position, plant location and labelling in remote forested areas. Species Recovery plans in conjunction with the Conservatoire Botanique National des Mascarins (La Réunion) and MWF Rodrigues.
