As a Coordinator for Fauna, I would be responsible for organizing the lunch/dinner services. I typically work with 1-2 other hosts that seat while I control the dining room and flow of service. I was responsible for making reservations and assigning them to server sections to make the workflow for each server equal to their capabilities. I would be in charge of communicating seating with the managers and kitchen, as well.

I started out as a food runner, slowling working up and gaining experience. I soon assumed positions of busser, food runner, and expediter. Then, they asked my to be the resturaunts hostess, and I loved it. I was under the responsibility of checking guests into the inn, organizing reservations for the night and future, and responding to phone calls. During catering events, I would help prep salads and hors d'oeuvres, and then expedite the dinner meal in the kitchen.
