The American-Central European Business Association is the umbrella organization of the 6 other bilateral Business Councils. At ACEBA, we provide American corporate executives a consistent, open line of communication with political leaders from Eastern and Central Europe. As a Vice President, I work alongside 3 other colleagues to organize regular roundtable meetings between our members and Foreign or US Government officials (State Department, Commerce Department, and other USG Agencies). By leveraging our network and collecting input from our members, we are able to create such a platform that encourages growing Business-to-Government trade relations. Every year, we lead between 6-8 business missions to Eastern and/or Central European nations. On these missions, we bring a delegation of American companies to meet with high-level local government officials. Leading up to these missions, myself and my colleagues are continuously collaborating with the local and foreign Embassies and Ministries in the respective nation to conceptualize a tailored schedule for each company participating in the mission, sectors ranging from defense and energy to finance and education.

Volunteering for 1700+ hours at a systemically under-resourced middle school providing academic and behavioral support in the classroom to underprivileged students aiming towards closing the educational opportunity gap. Representing my team as a Corps Council spokesperson at monthly meetings with the director of AmeriCorps Member Experience to discuss improvements, team spirit, and opportunities for growth. Undertaking an additional leadership role of Event Coordinator and facilitating monthly school-wide events and brainstorming strategies to encourage student attendance. Monitoring student progress in math proficiency and creating lesson plans and one-on-one tutoring sessions. Providing classroom management support to 20 first graders in an elementary after-school program by upholding and enforcing the partner teacher’s classroom rules, expectations and routines. Participating in the Deloitte Mentorship Program and Santander’s Operation Hope personal finance course.

Researched the insurance product market to analyze the competitive landscape and each company’s product portfolio. Collaborated with a 5-person cross-functional team to present research to the data analytics team. Built a comprehensive business overview of Milbank LLP, a highly strategic customer, evaluated fluctuations in profits, revenue, lawyer headcounts, and diversity statistics. Created a strategy to compile data from multiple platforms to support the development of a new legal search engine inside the ALM portfolio.
