Heading up the Corporate Team at MCI UK and driving strategy and change for our clients. Since taking on the challenge to lead the corporate team the World around us has changed. Our clients have needed us more than ever - to help them keep on top of the changes, reinvent their own strategy and keep people at the heart of it all. Growing the team, and our clients, was a challenge that I did not expect to take on in the last 12 months - but it is one that I have relished. Helping to carve the path ahead for the whole team, embrace the change, reimagine ourselves and build strong partnerships with our clients.

Leading the Account Management team to build and expand relationships, reach new audiences and have fun doing it!

Working as part of the corporate team on identifying and winning new business, growing existing client accounts and being part of a fantastic team. Helping clients to identify new strategies, reach new audiences and deliver exciting and meaningful experiences is what I really live for. Inspiring and leading an enthusiastic team is an added bonus! Having worked as part of the award winning Associations team previously, I've had the privileged to work with some great societies and organisations. Putting together engaging campaigns that have helped them to build new communities and develop new ways to create exciting conferences and live events.

A really exciting time for me. Working with the lovely people at Ketchum again on projects for Head & Shoulders and Nissan, as well as the great team at Oracle. Delevering events for Oracle in the UK - connecting audiences on Big Data, Security and Cloud. As well as working with Ketchum I really enjoyed engaging with some onsite delivery for MCI at ExCeL. A real highlight of this period was working along side my husband delivering the Sprint event for Feverbee in London in 2015. This event gathered 250 Community Managers and professionals from around the world to network and lead inspiring conversations on the future of Community.

I never knew you could learn so much in a year! I was lucky enough to work with some fantastic clients including Oracle, Crystal, Cloudera, Baileys, P&G and KAUST.My main responsibilities included developing event marketing strategy and seeing it through from concept to execution to evaluation. Generating new audiences and creating engaging copy that appealed to those already warm to my clients. Cross channel planning against tight deadlines was a real learning curve for me. Managing a great team of people who always managed to teach me new things and working with challeging clients on tight deadlines. Juggling many full plates of deliverables gave me the opportunity to manage large budgets and take responsibility for overall success and profitability. There were so many personal and professional achievements for me in this role including leading on the delivery of Oracle Day (the largest event in the Oracle UK event calendar). Successfully introducing and implementing new touch-points to demand generation strategy that realised an increase in attendance at the Oracle Business Analytics Summit 2013 - this resulted in record attendance onsite!Working with KAUST to re-brand and their Catalysis Centre in Saudi Arabia.

My first introduction to MCI. Working as Marketing Communications Manager (and a Project Manager for a while too) I worked with the Department for Education, Nokia, Lilly, VMWare, Johnson&Johnson, Sanofi, Northern Ireland Tourism Board, The Renal Association, ESPGHAN, Alzheimer's Disease International, Technology Strategy Board, Royal Mail. Building strategic marketing plans for congress, comferences, sales kick-offs and corporate incentives. This included audience generation campaigns, creating new brand and conference identities from briefing creative agencies to working with the client to develop strategy through to implemetation. I really enjoyed working on the creation of proposals and delivering pitches - this element really drove my flair for building excellent client relationships. I am especially proud of the work I undertook with the Technology Strategy Board on the Innovate UK Conference – I implemented a social media plan that saw the # Trending in the top 10 on Twitter on the day of the event. Also the bespoke identity that I worked with an external creative agencies to design for the Royal Mail Group Forum. I was fortunate enough to project manage the Department for Education "School to School Learning Visits Programme". This saw my team create a programme that allowed schools to share best practice and knowledge with others .

Working as part of the global marketing team. This was a maternity cover role that helped me to refine my marketing skills and opened new doors.

As the event fundraiser for this amazing charity that supports Children with life-limiting illnesses and thier familes, I was so lucky to work alongside a huge and committed team of volunteers on events that raised over £1 million in my time here. Personal highlights include taking a donated SMART car on a tour of the region to sell raffle tickets to win it - this raised over £40k alone and I met so many inspirational people along the way.
