Working with a remote team in bringing to life user stories to prepare the application for Spring/Summer Growathon launch, supported by the Wellington City Council.Encouraging people to plant crops and input their progress of their crop within the app. The app is made with a Python/Django backend and a JavaScript/React frontend.Building on-top of an existing code base.

A 15-week intensive software development bootcamp that mimics a real-life development team as closely as possible. The course taught full stack web development alongside important human skills, empathy, collaboration and working in teams using agile practice.Dev Academy Aotearoa displayed the importance for excelling learning abilities and human skills all while providing a supportive and practical working environment.Diving head first into DAA with no previous coding experience was a challenge I enjoyed every single day. My natural curiosity to learn was filled in a way I haven't found in my previous career, which drives me to dive deeper into coding and experience the world of tech. For my final group project, Pear-To-Peer, I was the Scrum Facilitator which helped me bring forward my passion for including everyone and their needs throughout the project timeline. I had contributed building React Components for presenting food items and adding food items to your profile using Chakra-UI, building the CRUD within the routes for the food items and testing many of the pre-existing functions throughout the application.
