The mission of the Future Cities Catapult is to advance urban innovation, to grow UK companies, to make cities better.My role as SME Development Coordinator requires me to add to the high quality plan that supports SME growth, achieving targets and strategic outcomes from the Future Cities Catapult Strategy. During this role I have been delivered the UK's first City AI Network: Urbain, led on the business engagement for The Future Cities Expo, CityX and coordinated the 3€ million Open Call for the EU project, Synchronicity.

I worked on the 3 year innovation project, Tombolo that developed products and services to help city authorities better use data to improve their cities.This role saw me develop, manage and deliver on a high-volume of diverse tasks. I oversaw the business development and engagement of the project, from ecosystem mapping to designing engagement strategies which included events such as:1. Challenge And Innovation In City Data2. Data Driven Innovation For Healthy CitiesI project managed the 3 day Hackathon, City Data Hack '18. That brought together over 100 data specialists, designers, developers and public sector workers to form multidisciplinary teams capable of developing product prototypes in 48-hours to solve 3 city challenges.Adding to this, I also project managed the collaborative with London Boroughs, SMEs and internal UX/UI designers and data scientists to produce the Urban Data Explorer.

Central Saint Martins is a world-renowned arts and design college. MA Innovation Management focuses on the need to equip graduates with the intellectual and practical abilities to operate creatively and strategically as an innovation manager within complex environments. At the end of the 2 years the 30 students collaborate to deliver a series of end-of-year events that showcase their work as individuals and a collective. As project manager of this 10 month project my key responsibilities included;Strategic management of interdisciplinary and collaborative teams: Design, Marketing, Sponsorship, Editorial and Events. Problem solving, risk management, opportunity development and stakeholder management.This project saw the delivery of an innovation management conference, presentations to Microsoft and Fjord design and the launch of the online platform Aeffect.co.uk.

EDF Blue labs is the Innovation acceleration created to make ideas and innovations happen. Working with start-ups, colleagues, students and innovators they aim to make energy better for the UK, our customers and our people.During a collaborative project with EDF Energy Blue labs and University of the Arts, I was the Ideation manager that led a multi-disciplinary team through the design thinking process of in-depth research, idea generation, development, rapid prototyping and reiteration. This project saw our ideas be selected for future consideration by the Blue Lab.

Driving Miss Daisy provide a unique service of companion drivers for elderly, children, disabled and for anyone who is unable to drive. Reacting to the needs of the aging population and social isolation, Driving Miss Daisy offers the logistics to get out and about, and a companion for safety, comfort and friendship. Working in collaboration with Driving Miss Daisy my role was to lead a team to innovate their service. Through identify, investigate, develop and deliver opportunities in the customer journey in the context of the aging population mobility.

A Cambridge based start-up aiming to deliver innovative, low carbon last mile delivery service within cities. Through rethinking a cities logistic process, coupled with new delivery developments Deliverease offers a system that restructures the way cities work to reduce traffic within city centres whilst offering convenient, fast delivery for the consumer. My role was as Lead 3D and Graphic designer was to turn this vision into a tangible and sellable concept. This was done through understanding the model and market position of the company to develop the graphical elements - colour palate and logo. I then developed the 3D visualisation of the concept, which was then transmitted into marketing materials to be pitched to investors.
