This role sees me look after a portfolio of buyers within the Wakefield and Leeds LCV branch that are under my title.I am a call point during the auctions, assisting with Provisional bids and pushing funding services to our client base.The role will see me as a visible call point at buyer registration and throughout the sales in the auction hall to engage and solicit feedback from our buyers, constantly improving the buyer experience.Using internal and external sources to win new business, increasing our buyer base. The key to then winning new business is building strong relationships. Recognizing the new business needs and working to develop this.I will also use my knowledge of my buyer base and their profile of stock, to place unsold vehicles to increase conversion.I use campaigns to increase footfall within the auction, and be a customer facing point of reference for queries relating to buyer accounts, including buyer fees.An important and exciting role, which my 12 years of vehicle remarketing background has prepared me for.

During my 12 months as a Customer Services Advisor for the Buyer Services department, my main roles were to receive and create new account applications, ensuring they meet strict regulations and criteria. I would then onboard these customers for a smooth and successful transition into purchasing. During my time in Buyer Services, I transformed the welcome calls to new buyers. My aim during these calls was to create confidence with the buyer, showing them around the website, how our products and services work, managing the buyer expectation on our Terms and Conditions and creating a personal relationship, all of which create confidence to convert the new account into an active buyer.I was also responsible for the buyer tier matrix, ensuring our account holders were placed on the correct tier for their purchasing amounts. My first role within Aston Barclay Vehicle Remarketing, it saw me on the front line of the auction experience. My main responsibilities including processing the invoices post auction, serving customers at the front counter and taking payment, including cash, card and bank transfer. Also when needed, I ran the online auction block client - A fast paced job to ensure the online auction was efficient and ran smoothly. I also took on the duties of the Heath and Safety Champion for the Wakefield site, which saw monthly walk arounds of the whole site, reporting on unsafe conditions , and reporting to the relevant departments. I also assisted with ensuring the branch and staff met all current health and safety rules.

As front of house and Receptionist at Dispo International, I was responsible for all visitors onsite, and also completing a Health and Safety induction for new staff and agency workers.I organized samples for prospective clients and also completed the account opening process for all new account. I utilized company credit searches, to decide whether accounts qualified for a credit or proforma based account.I assisted with procurement of any good needed for the company, including stationary and warehouse supplies like pallet wrap and pallets.My day to day included assisting the accountant with any tasks nessascary.The best part of working at Dispo International, was everyone's drive to jump into anything to get the work done, and everyone pulled together. When needed, I would assist unloading the inbound containers, stacking the pallets and wrapping them, which was out of my job title, but none the less got the job done. Being able to pull together is what makes a team great.

As vendor account manager, I over saw a range of independent and trade entries into the branch, ensuring that pre and post sale reports were provided, so performance could be tracked and delivering the start to end journey of stock through auction.I also trained to value the entries into the auction, using CAP and Seller Advance tools, to accurately value the vehicles to ensure a quicker sale. I started into the company with the role of Business Improvement officer, receiving monthly reports from Head Office that highlighted key areas of the business and the processes,. I would then investigate these processes and report back, looking for solutions to improve them.One of my main, and favourite roles within Manheim, was Simulcast auctioneer. This role saw me run the Simulcast for every auction, in a fast paced enviroment with little to no room for error.I was quickly recognised as a highly skilled operator of the Simulcast, which in turn saw me regularly called upon to train new operators from around the business and also travel to the other branches when required to operate the Simulcast elsewhere. I was also chosen to assist when trouble shooting for the platform was required, and testing the Simulcast when it was updated.
