I am a fully trained lifeguard at a busy swimming pool which is accessible to everyone. I have continued regular training throughout the summer. Through this summer I have dealt which a range of different customers and situations. I have also taken control of cleaning the facilities and making sure that all problems are dealt with correctly. It has also allowed me to gain my first aid certificates.

This is a part-time job where I predominantly oversee weddings and normal hotel guests, requiring me to set up the weddings as well as manage my waitressing team and to ensure that any problems are solved efficiently and as quickly as possible. Adapting to this sort of environment is essential, this is something I have demonstrated on numerous occasions, including helping prepare food and carrying out consultations with brides. As a result, I have become very comfortable with working unsociable hours and am under no illusions as to the long working days this industry requires. Working within a pressurized environment and managing a team effectively on a weekly basis has allowed me to become more confident, reliable and trustworthy, as well as developing my team building and management skills. One main example of this would be when I was left in charge of the hotel with one other member of staff for the whole day due to unforeseeable circumstances. My love for catering, which has led to me completing my certificates, has also allowed me to be able to jump into the kitchen when needed to and to cook meals and help prepare food.
