Having graduated mid-year from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Development studies, I am excited and motivated to begin my career in the international development industry. Throughout the course of my masters degree, I have gained an in-depth understanding of international and community development, human rights, inequality, politics, gender issues and cultural studies. Drawing on my undergraduate economics degree allows me to blend two social sciences in a way that is highly complementary. I am very organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as being highly proficient with many digital operating systems. I value hard work and am a fast learner. I have a breadth of professional experience across several sectors that has taught me how to transfer knowledge between roles and adapt to different organisations.I am actively seeking an opportunity where I can apply my technical academic knowledge in a workplace context and allow me to learn in depth, the practical side of the international development sector.
