POC for Buyer Risk Operations across EMEA. Responsible for building, improving and monitoring business processes that detect and prevent fraudulent buyer activity which causes negative seller/creator experience and capital loss to TikTok Shop.

- Leading investigations and analysis of suspicious user behaviour, fraudulent transactions and abuse to protect the integrity of the platform- Identifying vulnerabilities and collaborating with various business, technology, and security/risk stakeholders to identify and solve risk problems at scale- Producing regular high-quality fraud reports to summarise new trends and business impacts for updating senior management teams- Collaborating with Legal, Public Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to investigate and respond to regulator inquiries on fraud and (or) crime-related activities

Senior Fraud Investigator within Marshmallow's Insurance Crime team, a nominee for the Insurance Post's 2022 'Counter Fraud Team of the Year'.- Take ownership of large & complex fraud investigations and investigate potential trends within our data, identifying any additional exposure and owning preventative action- Act as a subject matter expert for teammates and collaborating with colleagues from across the company in order to continuously improve our processes- Represent Marshmallow at Fraud Roundtable events and liaise with partners such as Cifas & GoCompare to keep up-to-date with wider industry trends and understand where our vulnerabilities may lie- Enforce the delivery of a compliant service to customers and role-modelling this behaviour/treatment of customers to others - Undertake Financial Crime investigations searching for PEPs, sanctioned individuals, AML, and SARs

I led a team of investigators working on behalf of the UK's leading insurance companies, law enforcement agencies and local authorities in detecting and investigating fraudulent activity across a range of sectors.Responsible for the performance of the department and ensuring that company targets and client deadlines were continuously met by myself and my team. I liaised directly with our largest clients and senior stakeholders and provided detailed case updates, advice and recommendations throughout our investigation process and beyond.

- Conducting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) operations to gather information on an individual or subject- Reviewing and editing surveillance footage, adhering to industry regulations- Preparing expert witness statements, evidence packs and detailed intelligence and surveillance reports for client use- Attending court, when required, to assist with client legal proceedings- Working collaboratively with our background intelligence and field operatives, giving feedback and ensuring that our processes were aligned and the quality of our surveillance and overall package presented to the client was of the highest possible quality
