My role is to connect with our clients, foster a 'curious community' though our Thinking Space initiative and above all collaborate with a wide variety of interesting and interested people.

VMA Enhance is the professional development arm of VMA Group, the UK's leading corporate communication recruiter. I was responsible for the creation and launch of VMA Enhance, putting together and managing the first set of programmes focusing on Impact and Influence as well as a number of other skill development areas, with communication focus. Alongside a variety of community building professional development events I also created and produced the first VMA IC Showcase Awards.

VMA Group is Corporate Communication Recruitment specialist. I spent four years at the organisation ultimately taking on responsibility for the Internal Communication recruitment team as an Associate Director, working on Heads of Internal Communication positions. I was also responsible for the annual IC Survey and surrounding events, which gave some insight into the development of Internal Communication function across the UK.

Melcrum works alongside leaders and teams around the globe to build skills and best practice in Internal Communication. My role at Melcrum started in the Sales team and eventually saw me running Business Development for the global organisation. I was proud to help launch and manage the Strategic Communication Resarch Forum, (Corporate Membership) currently mainstay of the business with over 100 corporate members. I also launched and developed internalcommsjobs.com - the first website of its kind in the world to focus on finding jobs for internal communication professionals.

Before the merger into Commwealth Bank of Australia, I worked for Colonial First State Investments. A fund management organisation. I was responsible for managing the onboarding of new customers and their fund applications. The bank was involved in The Olympic Games 2000 with an HQ in Martin Place, it was a very vibrant time in the organisation and in Sydney itself. I learnt a lot about transparent and employee communiction and balanced working from my work here. A happy bi-product which went on to inform the way I feel about effective workplaces.
