She is a serial life sciences entrepreneur, with an executive track record bringing biologics from concept to clinic, creating companies integrating diverse stakeholders, and with international reach. As Co-founder and CEO, Charlotte span Theolytics out of the University of Oxford at concept stage, raising $45M non-dilutive and institutional equity financing to discover, validate and advance a pipeline of three novel biologics, developing the lead programme into the clinic as a potentially curative treatment for ovarian cancer patients (2017-2024).Charlotte served as a Board Member for the UK’s BioIndustry Association (BIA) (2019-2024, Audit Committee). The organisation represents over 600 industrial and commercial member organisations, enabling and connecting the life sciences ecosystem so that businesses can start, grow and deliver world-changing innovation. As Co-founder and Director of New Medicine Partners, Charlotte operated across Singapore, Kazakhstan, India, the US and the UK, to develop strategies and coordinate complex programmes in collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders with a focus on bringing biologics into effective use worldwide (2016-2017).Between 2014 and 2017 Charlotte founded, built and led global multi-disciplinary, volunteer-led communities bringing people together to unlock the potential of health and medical technologies. This included the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Cambridge Hub, HealthTech Women’s UK Hub, and Hello Tomorrow’s Healthcare and Medical Technologies group.Charlotte has been recognised as one of Forbes 30 Under 30, and In Vivo’s 30 Rising Leaders in Life Sciences. She holds a MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from University of Cambridge (2016), a BSc in Biomedical Science from King’s College London (2014), and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification (CAIA, 2017). She is a lifelong endurance athlete - previously UK national rowing gold-medalist, and now avid runner and skier. Together with her husband Harald, and their son Fynn, they live between Oxford UK and Park City UT.
