While I can appreciate the tradition, I continuously strive to make things better and more efficient. Question the process and identify creative solutions for practical efficiency and imagine solutions to problems not yet identified- that's how you improve. That's how you go from tradition to innovation and that's my favorite kind of puzzle.I have a real passion for practical efficiency. If things can be done better, I can't help myself but to imagine and craft solutions to reach that end and to work as a team to see those solutions through. In my experience consulting for businesses across the globe and across all industries as a decision modeler (business analyst with a decision management focus), I've helped to identify how things can be done better. But not only that- I've also created solutions that have actually made an improvement. By working directly with the business, I've helped teams working manual, time-consuming tasks using the oldest of technology reach automated, straight-through-processing within a matter of months while ensuring acceptably low levels of risk. By approaching problems from a logical perspective while also thinking creatively, it's amazing how so many problems seem to dissolve. The engineer / mathematician in me can't hide!
