I’m a curious person and I value community. I love to bring people together to learn and to share.Collaborating with a team to answer good real-world questions motivates me. Whether in a Luma session, a good retro, or a thoughtful conversation, we can always learn from each other. I believe in stepping outside of my comfort zone and I value the opportunities I have to continuously grow my skills.I work in tech - Since my first Geocities site with inline styles, the web has fascinated me. I’ve built JavaScript games, CSS animations, and whatever project helped me learn. Throughout my education and experience in music, media, visual arts, and fitness, I've used the web to share what I learn and create. My varied experiences give me a broad perspective and skillset. I've worked with small and large companies, higher education settings, and community organization like the YWCA, The YMCA, The Centre For Arts in Human Development, and centres in The Greater Montreal Area. These have given me the opportunity to work in many capacities — instructor, organizer, computer support, blogger, camera operator, composer. I've also had the chance to work with several populations — older adults with varying health challenges, adults with developmental disabilities, teens. I think this makes me sensitive to client and company needs and flexible in striving to meet them. With all of this in mind, my big goal is to make it easier for people to connect with each other and the practical and empowering knowledge they crave. To get there, I'm looking for an opportunity where I can build things with the skills I have and work with a team that can help me reach the next level.
