I am an ecologist with a broad and multi-disciplinary background. I have experience in this field from the primary research and data collection level, to the application of research by governments. My PhD utilised a multi-faceted research approach, including genetics, pathology and statistical analysis of population level data to investigate a novel wildlife disease, whilst a fellowship within the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology allowed me to distill research and primary data into a briefing document to inform Parliament. To complement this, I have also gained a wealth of practical communication and leadership skills in my many customer and public facing roles.
