I worked closely with businesses on Brackmills Industrial Estate to help them set up Northampton's very first Business Improvement District (BID) in 2009. Resident companies voted a resounding 'YES' to becoming a BID. Companies pool an annual levy and use this to fund a host of initiatives, all designed to improve and transform the estate.
