About Charlotte Storey

If you're looking for a professional speaker who is a consummate physical and vocal performer, who uses humour to combine extensive experience of high-level professional performance within the Arts, with a proven track record of developing elite individuals in military and business settings, my biography will inspire you to engage my services as both speaker and trainer. Paul Livingston, CEO of Lockheed Martin UK described my keynote speech at their Leader Conference in 2023 as "the most impactful presentation we had ever seen at our annual conference. I would highly recommend her both as a speaker and someone to coach and support employees into empowering them for leadership". As a passionate advocate for leadership development and career progression, I specialise in helping professionals overcome obstacles to achieve their fullest potential. My journey has been one of resilience and transformation, which has shaped me into a trusted authority in guiding others through their personal and professional challenges. In 2018, I faced a significant setback when I lost the use of my right arm. However, this life-changing event became a catalyst for reinventing myself and finding new avenues to success. With the unwavering support of Flying Scholarships for Disabled People (FSDP), I earned my LAPL (light aircraft pilot licence), mastering the art of flying one-handed. This experience not only empowered me, but also positioned me to assist clients in overcoming physical and psychological limitations to achieve career success. My diverse background as a professional actor, musician, and university lecturer has allowed me to draw from unique perspectives in creating a person-centred training programme. Through my Leader Empowerment online course, I combine leadership theory, actor training, and NLP mindset methodologies, providing participants with a transformational journey of self-discovery and growth. My talks focus on disability and unconscious bias, elite communication skills through developing the aesthetics of gravitas, conquering performance anxiety for success in pitching and selling, and empowering introverted teams.
