During this placement I was responsible for monitoring and analysing the generation of a community solar project using Microsoft Excel. Alongside this, I was tasked with identifying the root cause of an underperforming PV system on a farm and evaluating different ways of enhancing performance using problem solving skills. I was also responsible for organising a community energy education project, enhancing my ability to communicate scientific ideas, as well as organisational skills.
