Identifying the goals of the charity, determining their target audience, recognising the most effective ways to communicate their message to their audience, and how they can consistently portray their message were all discussed to be able to produce an effective content plan. I then began with identifying important dates such as World Environment Day and World Refill Day, that the charity wanted to incorporate in their plan to ensure the community is informed about the importance of these national days. It was my role to create engaging posts to get viewers interacting with the post. By creating engaging content that could lead to an increase in shares, this would develop the websites domain activity and increase the ranking on search engines. This internship has taught me many new skills, as well as allowing me to incorporate the skills I have learnt from my social media and marketing modules to contribute to a local charity. Show less
