Provides crisis counseling to youth in crisis dealing with a wide range of issues including suicidality and active suicide attempts, homicidal ideation, abuse, trauma, mental health challenges, gender and sexual identity, coming out and more. Provides empathetic and affirming support, centering work on callers' goals and lived experiences, and interfaces with law enforcement to intervene and prevent completion of active suicide attempts.

Served on the leadership team of the COVID Grief Network (CGN), a mutual aid organization offering free 1-1 and group grief support to young adults who've lost someone close to COVID-19. Drove innovative partnerships and managed a volunteer communications team to help recruit 435 volunteer grief workers (including therapists, chaplains and counselors) and 465 grieving young adults spanning 41 states and 18 countries.Brought grief conversations to thousands of people through grief-focused podcasts, press and over a dozen online events, including a partnering with MTV for their Mental Health Action Day.Teamed up with the final Broadway cast of RENT to direct and produce a powerful musical tribute honoring those we've lost and the love that lives on, which went viral on social media.
