High Level Summary of Role: • Main point of contact for the unit for families and professional • Liaise with families, unit members and other professionals, provide appropriate information, advice and/or support as directed by the Consultant Social Worker • Responsible for monitoring and supporting the Consultant Social Worker with the management of the finances for the unit • Process and own referrals from the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) through interrogation of child's file and create genograms in conjunction with family members and / or professional bodies to gather historical family information and inform appropriate interventions • Responsible for accurately managing and recording all financial transactions within the unit, ensuring all financial transactions are authorised correctly and any errors are rectified at the earliest opportunity • Organise and co-ordinate the work of the unit for the relevant practitioners including arranging venues, contact sessions and transport for families • To support the induction of new unit workers, through guidance on unit processes and IT Systems
