As a part of the in-house creative department I bridge the gap between creative conception and final production of marketing assets. With a focus on the fine details, I retouch images to make them perfect, and ensure that copy over them is legible. Check kerning, word spacing, ragging, purposeful sentence breaks in the copy. Flow in translated copy for other countries on global campaigns. Make sure brand colors and fonts are correct. Build out other sizes within the campaign. Create templates for often used assets. Design within the approved look and feel. Optimize images for web. Animate images and text for gif, mp4 and html/css, using After Effects, Animate, Photoshop and KeyShot (beginning to learn Cinema 4D). Create Photoshop Actions and Droplets to automate redundant processes for myself and other team members. Assets I commonly create and optimize are Homepage, Landing Page and Product Display Page assets for the company website, Emails, Social Media assets, Website Banner Ads, and Product Renders.

While at this small ad agency, whose mission is to promote businesses that create American jobs, I predominately worked on digital projects, preparing static and animated banners, social post imagery, digital OOH, and assets for websites and apps. I also retouched images for digital and print production and prepared files for print OOH, and books. The accounts I worked on included Lyft, Fridays, Lulzbot, Clayton Homes, Firefox, Bright Health, TaxAct, Evol, Seventh Generation, Earth Balance, Udi’s, Under Armour and GSV.

The CP+B studio had two primary responsibilities, helping the creative teams prepare for client meetings and pitches, and preparing artwork for final production. Projects that I worked on include comps for TV ads to portray a visualization of the script, designing and/or preparing meeting templates, preparing website and mobile app assets, web banners, touts, print ads, posters, billboards, station dominations, direct mail, books, brochures, and swag for events and meetings. As a studio member I worked on a wide range of accounts, including Hotels.com, Applebee’s, VW, Fruit of the Loom, Domino’s, B-cycle, Groupon, Hulu, Sprite, Twist, American Express, Microsoft, Coke Zero, Pearl Izumi, Kraft Mac & Cheese, Buell, Best Buy, Geek Squad, Old Navy, Burger King, Nike, Guitar Hero, Gap and MetLife.

In this small design firm that specialized in brand and retail development I was a team member in brand building and event promotion projects that included ad campaigns, websites, wayfinding signage, site graphics, packaging, brochures and other print collateral for such clients as The Bellevue Collection, Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place, Lincoln Square, Portlock, Sconza, City of Hope, and the Eugene Marathon.

In the Seattle studio of this worldwide, WPP company I assisted the designers in the production of packaging and event collateral for Microsoft, and in the production of annual reports for clients that included HCPI and InfoSpace.

As a team member in the high output, deadline oriented, design/prepress department of this large printing company I achieved recognition for quality customer service and creative problem solving. I designed print collateral for the Starwood Hotels and assisted the Starwood Creative Services Group during their development of the brand guidelines for St. Regis Hotels and Resorts. I was also responsible for proofreading artwork prepared by team members and was a backup for the Pre-flight Specialist.

In the design/prepress department of this small print shop, I designed advertisements, invitations, announcements, flyers, and other print collateral and performed prepress operations on files for film, large format printers and four-color digital press.
