Praise House Project Inc is a 501c3, nonprofit organization which presents arts and cultural programming which celebrate and preserve Black narratives, through community-based programming in the arts and humanities which uplift and preserve African American histories in communities.

My work invokes the power of the ancestors. By creating visual road maps from the past to the present paved by the history and stories, love and heartache, success and failures of the ancestors, it celebrates the Ancestral Memory in us all. I believe that by reclaiming their stories and by praising and committing to their memory, we will better understand ourselves and our collective potential. As a visual artist, I seek images of loving women who embody leadership and power. I reclaim their power from traditional objects of servitude and submission and then re-present them as the truth of what they were/are - POWER HOUSES. I believe in their wisdom. I only pray to make them proud by holding dear their legacy in my own life.The New Freedom Project - celebrates freedom as realized and experienced throughout American history and beyond. This project recalls Emancipation and recognizes the achievement and strength of a people who although most recently affected by slavery, somehow created a place for themselves within the shifting American landscape. The New Freedom Project is inspired by this pivotal moment in history and subsequent freedom movements since. This community-based arts initiative includes an artist residency, historical preservation, community collaboration, genealogical research and a final exhibition of work inspired by the history of each community it serves. The New Freedom Project engages audiences in a journey through history, as they celebrate and remember their ancestors by recording and retelling their stories - the American story of freedom. The resulting body of work, presents the ancestors as sacred symbols or icons which celebrate the past, hoping to affect change in the present in order to inform our path to mutual respect and understanding in the future.

Foxfire (The Foxfire Fund, Inc.) is a not-for-profit, educational and literary organization based in Rabun County, Georgia. Founded in 1966, Foxfire's learner-centered, community-based educational approach is advocated through both a regional demonstration site (The Foxfire Museum & Heritage Center) grounded in the Southern Appalachian culture that gave rise to Foxfire, and a national program of teacher training and support (the Foxfire Approach to Teaching and Learning) that promotes a sense of place and appreciation of local people, community, and culture as essential

3BQ - "Burlesque, Barbecue and Bourbon" supported Alternate ROOTS: southern activist artists working on the frontlines of the most pressing issues of our times: empowering women and uplifting women’s rights, equal rights for LGBTQ communities, anti-racism and uprooting oppressions, immigrant and migrant rights, and protecting our environment across the region.

DOXOLOGY RING SHOUT: PRAISE DANCE FOR THE DOXYA National Endowment for the Arts funded project commissioned by the National Black Arts Festival in partnership with Spelman College and T. Lang Dance, Doxology draws back the curtain on the ecstatic, transcendent ring shout tradition through a rich blend of dance, visual imagery, and music. Conceived, written and directed by the esteemed playwright, Paul Carter Harrison in collaboration with composer Dwight Andrews, digital media artist, Philip Mallory Jones, and the legendary choreographer, Dianne McIntyre, the provocative dance/opera will be performed in a digital performance environment by the T Lang Dancers at Spelman's Baldwin Burroughs Theater this Fall as a part of the National Black Arts Festival 2014 season.

Provide content and oversight of the America's Sunday Supper program, the Immersion Learning series including the Civil Rights Tours and the Main Street Stage. Support the overall conference with additional content as needed including speakers, marketing and recruitment and production support.

Design and implement countywide arts initiative which disseminates funding to arts organizations which target underserved communities throughout the county. Serve as a liaison between the community partners and the county. Manage grant applications and reporting. Monitor the delivery of the scopes of services to insure optimal community impact and outcomes.

Ori Group is a consulting collective which provides executive management in the areas of programming and producing, marketing and brand management, and business and administrative services for any national project and campaign. As an independent consultant, work with national service and cultural organizations providing program management, board development and staff training while serving sponsors and presenting partners by meeting needs specific to community development and resource building.

Designed and implement full conference content, serving 10,000 volunteers. Formed partnerships with over 20 community service agencies including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. Managed a 50 member staff and production team as well as a team of 150 volunteers. Secured an agenda of speakers that included presentations by Secretary Andrew Cuomo, US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Marian Wright Edelman, Children’s Defense Fund, Dr. Johnnetta Cole, actor and activist, Danny Glover and Mrs. Coretta Scott King among others, with presentations by both local and national community service leaders and activists.

Assisted in the design, implementation and evaluation of overall festival content. Responsibilities included identifying, negotiating with and contracting artists, securing festival venues, coordinating and hiring contractors for event production and managing event staff and volunteers. Managed the Art Reach Education Programs, which targeted community centers reaching over 15,000 children throughout the metro Atlanta area during the 10-day Festival, while employing nearly 100 local artists annually. Designed and implemented year-round programming serving communities throughout the metro area in 8 different arts disciplines.
