I joined my family business,PP O’Connor, in 2003 as commercial manager following my 10 year employment with a major construction company and graduation from University of Salford with a first class honours degree in Quantity Surveying. In 2007 I became commercial director and this enabled me to offer value for money, open book accounting and cost certainty to clients identifying a business strategy to ensure PP O’Connor’s business grows and develops at a sustainable speed. In 2014 I was promoted to the position of Chief Executive and my role has allowed me to concentrate on the strategic and future growth of our family business which has been established for over 50 years.In March 2017 I became North West Regional Chairman of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors.
