The Founder and President of Building Opportunities for Leaders Daily (BOLD) Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting youth in the areas of college and career readiness, leadership roles, and health and well-being.I am a native of Palm Beach County, grew up in Boynton Beach, Florida, and graduated from Boynton Beach Community High School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University.With over 20 years of volunteer experience I am still a supporter for our children. For the last 10 years I have been a powerful voice for our youth, by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Each year during Children’s Week, you can find me under the “Hanging of the Hands” at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, ready to share Florida PTA Legislative Priorities.I have served on the boards of the Florida Parent Teacher Association, Palm Beach County Council PTA/PTSA, and Coalition of Black Student Achievement. I currently serve on several School District of Palm Beach County Advisory Boards including: District Diversity and Equity Committee (Chair), Academic Advisory Committee (Committee Member, Former Vice Chair), Advisory Boundary Committee (Committee Member), Calendar Committee (Committee Member), and Action Alliance for Mental Health (Committee Member).I have four children, love the beach, writing poetry, and playing sports outdoors.
