As a Sales Associates I am responsible for the happiness of customers from the time they enter the store til the time they are leaving; it is my job to get their child a balloon if he/she is crying but furthermore it is my job to assist the mother/ father. I have to first understand the needs of the customer and to get understanding as to what they're looking for I have to engage in conversation. Once I find out what they are looking for I must direct them to what it is and if we happen to not have the size they are looking for it's my job to provide them with something similar for around the same price range if not less and before suggesting I must make sure we have the size they are looking for. Another part of my job includes offering ONCs to customers to provide them knowledge and chances to save.

My job as a Hostess required excellent listening skills. My duties include seating tables, keeping dinning area clean, cashing out customers, serving beverages, clearing tables, taking to-go orders, and making sure customers are taken care of and have no complaints; however, sometimes I would wait tables and at one point I had to train the new coming host.
