My educational background includes two M.Phil. Qualifications; one in Political Management and one in Monitoring & Evaluation from the University of Stellenbosch. The latter degree equipped me with the necessary skills to conduct research (qualitative & quantitative), to collect data, to monitor and to report on data. I worked in various sectors which include the international sector, the public-, development- and the private sector and I volunteered at our local community radio station. My different fields of employment allowed me to interact with different individuals at different levels. My public sector experiences include the National & Provincial departments of Labour where I was employed in the Labour Market and Information System unit. The goal of the unit was to focus on strategic planning, monitoring and the evaluation of labour market data. Secondly, to evaluate the performance of the different business units within the Department of Labour. I am highly motivated woman with the drive to succeed and to be the best at what my Maker intends me to be.
