Growing up in New Zealand, I'm heavily influenced by my Pacific culture, so people and community are motivating influences for me. I am a social worker by training but realised, after 6 years working on the front-line in New Zealand and Australia, that facilitating access to opportunities could be more fulfilling. After a whirlwind move to Germany, I found myself immersed in the dynamic and growing Berlin tech community. This adventure spanning 7 years provided a solid foundation in data-informed people programs for scaling tech companies, and the chance to use my intercultural skills towards promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. COVID and the voices of BLM gave me the chance to reflect and engage more with my local community and I spent the warmer months of 2020 (in Europe) focusing on offline engagement and learning. Berlin offers the chance to explore much about the human experience and I had the joy of supporting a range of organisations and individuals on their transformative journies. I have developed my own range of workshops and structured counseling approach grounded in change management that recognises identity, social space and authenticity. In 2022, I joined Babbel working on organisational development leading and supporting a range of initiatives from leadership development to organisational change and creating a culture of feedback. In 2024 I am focused on my L&D expertise at TecAlliance, building and scaling global programs and initiatives. Feel free to connect here if you'd like to chat about your own journey.

I have developed my own best practice and invite you to explore how giving back can be equally rewarding.
