At school and college this curiosity led me to choosing subjects that included elements of construction and engineering. On projects I gained great satisfaction from utilizing mathematics, natural sciences, and common sense to design and build things that actually worked. This passion for engineering has led to an ambition to gain a degree qualification which I can then use as a stepping stone to becoming a civil engineer.
