Ms Koch joined human services field and pursued a career as Community Rehabilitation Worker, engaged with Severe Mental and Physical Disabilities with Wheat Country Special Needs Society. Her compassion in the human services field combined with international cultural/travel experiences has provided a valuable outlook and tools to guide, motivate and connect with those in crises. Charntelle has exceptional work ethic and prides herself as an active volunteer and Community Service holds deep value in her actions in every day life.This steered her to grow as Youth Addiction Counsellor serving high risk First Nations, Metis & Intuit youth and their families, including preparation and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans. Ms Koch’s experience with corporate and human services combined with ongoing education, has maximized her ability to build resilience with limited resources and making a positive impact in society. She currently holds over 3750 hours in field experience and will be perusing Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor Certification shortly. Prior, Ms Koch joined non-profit organization Vulcan Business Development Society and furthered education in Digital marketing and business management with Lethbridge College. She also volunteered for Vulcan & District Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director with Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator, that influenced the modernisation of small businesses communication and marketing strategies in Vulcan County. Gaining practical knowledge in share investment structures and policies, Intuit, project management and cross functional boards and organisations. This led her to design, construct and launch a restaurant in downtown Vulcan till 2017.
