I have a genuine love for all life and an effervescent desire to help other people. I am exploring opportunities to leverage my 28+ years of public service experience into the private sector where my unique skillset may be put to use. I will be relocating to East Tennessee, in the very near future. I am presently LCOTS (Corrections) and MCOLES (Law Enforcement) certified. I have experience being assigned to an operational leadership role and given special assignments that require a high level of organization, prioritization, and the ability to multitask. These assignments often require that I work under minimal supervision and be highly versatile. I regularly interact with executive level government administrators and elected officials to complete various tasks and to provide specialized services. I also have program management experience within the Corrections division. My colleagues respect my judgment and view me as a creative leader that is reliable, highly organized, and can be trusted to make sound decisions. I am valued by my supervisors for being versatile, goal oriented, and for being highly organized. My integrity is beyond reproach. I am a Field Training Officer, responsible for teaching new recruits how to safely perform their assigned duties independently. I am the past President of the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Deputies' Association.I am exploring new career opportunities within the private sector that will prove to be challenging and provide for a higher level of job responsibility and opportunity to advance.
