Collating information to provide transportation and freight services to Workz Media by arranging inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials, collaterals, machinery, spares and tools being sourced locally as well as overseas (based on the request). Analyzing the collective information related to the logistics of the product through internal references to ensure adequacy, accuracy and required documents are complied with. Getting involved directly with forwarding agents located… Show more Collating information to provide transportation and freight services to Workz Media by arranging inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials, collaterals, machinery, spares and tools being sourced locally as well as overseas (based on the request). Analyzing the collective information related to the logistics of the product through internal references to ensure adequacy, accuracy and required documents are complied with. Getting involved directly with forwarding agents located overseas (incase the goods need to be sourced from overseas) and arranging timely booking of cargos, negotiating the freight rates and working on cargo insurance based on the mode of transportation and the value of the goods. Reviewing and processing shipping documents and arranging custom clearance through E-Mirsal 2 Monitoring all the shipments and subsequently updating the details related to the status of the shipment into the system on a daily basis and communicating the same to Procurement, Warehouse and Sales team. Handling accounts of Workz direct customers for arranging shipments related to final goods (Recharge Cards and SIM packs) or collaterals (SIM Cards and Modules). Generating reports based on the order flow categorized under different products and submitting it to management twice a week for further planning. Raising nonconformance against vendors or freight forwarder who failed to comply with the instructions sent out by Workz Cargo (whilst arranging the logistics for the movement of the product) in the CCP portal and following up with them on the root cause corrective and preventive action (to avoid such instances from happening in the future.)
