About Charul Chadha

I am a Ph.D. candidate under Dr. Iwona Jasiuk, working on studying the hierarchical structure of the equine hoof wall and leveraging the learnings to create high-impact resistant structures. My research has two components to it 1) Studying the structure of equine hoof walls under different length scales (microscale- macroscale) and 2) Understanding the mechanical properties of polymers manufactured using additive manufacturing and using the understanding to create impact-resistant structures.I am an engineering researcher with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of different additive manufacturing techniques, finite element analysis, topology optimization, and applied machine learning.
