There was a daily interface with various engineering departments including Design, Information Technology, Facilities and Automation Control. Communicate with management, developers, analysts, product managers and technical support specialists on product issues

The influence of defects, strengthening mechanisms and heat treatments are examined. Mechanical strength properties in tension/compression, shear, hardness and impact and related test procedures are investigated. The Iron-Carbon phase diagram is studied. Coverage also addresses ceramics, plastics and composites. Dual listed as MET 212. Prerequisite: CHEM 101.
