As driver for Ride-On I ensure excellent customer service for passengers that need rides to medical appointments or other venues. I am responsible for visually examining the bus or van I drive for any mechanical anomalies prior to every shift and adhering to traffic and speed laws to ensure a safe excursion for riders.

As a behavioral interventionist, I was assigned to one or more families with a child on the autism spectrum. My goal was to help the child form good habits and to help them develop fundamental skills for independent living, as well as behavioral skills. As part of my duties, I was responsible for detailed note taking on every session and a reflection of how the session went.

As a physical therapy aide, I was educated on how all areas of the establishment worked, but my main duties were to assist the therapists with any procedures that did not involve manipulation of the affected area. My responsibilities included assisting with ultrasound, electric stim, therapeutic exercise, aquatic exercise, and massage. I was also responsible with knowing and educating on a variety of exercises with proper form and function.

As a front desk associate, I displayed an enthusiastic and welcoming demeanor to set the tone for guests entering to work out. Duties included checking in guests and helping with any membership-related questions or problems on the computer. The position required a thorough understanding of all details of membership levels and rates, the facility knowledge to give proper tours, and the ability to sell merchandise by creating customer rapport.

Held positions at various government and private agencies including YMCA, City of Santa Maria’s Paul Nelson Aquatic Center, Santa Maria Country Club, and City of San Luis Obispo’s Sinsheimer Pool. Responsible for ensuring the safety of pool patrons, responding in emergency situations, answering patron questions, lap swim set up and close, securing building after closing, cleaning pool, keeping track of pH and temperature, and enforcement of pool rules. Maintained CPR and Title 22 certifications.
