The President is charged with running each meeting, coordinating with the investment management firm, and managing the work of each officer and director on the Foundation's Board of Directors. The President develops and executes a strategic vision every few years to ensure a long-term infrastructure is in place to meet the core objective of the Foundation, funding DeMolay in Arizona in perpetuity.

The Arizona DeMolay Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization serving as the primary funding arm of the DeMolay in Arizona program, a 501(c)(3) for the leadership development of young men ages 12-21. Over the last several years, the Foundation has provided over $255,000 in total funding since 2011 for DeMolay in Arizona.After serving as Secretary and President, I returned to a role as a Director on the Board to continue working on donor relations, design work, and internship program assistance.

During my tenure: Began review of the Foundation’s inclusivity in image and composition. Founded an internship program to benefit local youth. Created a President’s Guide to assist in leadership transitions. Created a donor crediting program. Gave a record annual disbursement to support youth programming. Increased revenue by 2,776%. Increased portfolio value by 29.7%. Founded a new charity, the Community Initiative, to benefit qualified low-income students across Arizona.

The Secretary of the Foundation is charged with maintaining the corporate records, including taking meeting minutes. The Secretary also works to maintain proper parliamentary procedure in the Foundation meetings, serves on the Executive Committee of officers for the Foundation, and works on special projects delivered by the President of the Foundation.During my tenure: Sponsored motion to permit youth leadership back onto the Board. Created a car donation campaign. Collected stories for donor engagement. Setup Google for Nonprofits. Principally designed the first-ever Impact Report. Redrafted by-laws and policies to increase accountability. Designed 50th Anniversary Our Road to 50 plan to address infrastructure, support, and fundraising goals.

The Arizona DeMolay Foundation Community Initiative is a 501(c)(3) and Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO Code: 22427) operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Arizona DeMolay Foundation. The Community Initiative, pursuant to Arizona law, permits Arizona taxpayers to donate up to $800 for a dollar-for-dollar tax credit so long as the organization contributes at least 50% of its budget to qualifying chronically ill or low-income Arizona residents. The Community Initiative has chosen to support low-income Arizona residents aspiring to higher education success. The remaining funds raised go to support the Arizona DeMolay Foundation and its mission for community betterment through youth leadership.

Working in the Antitrust, Competition, and Trade (ACT) Group. Drafted portions of a motion to dismiss in a putative antitrust class action. Researched affirmative defenses and Rule 26(e) obligations. Researched the effects of foreign discovery on U.S. § 1782 Petitions.

Conducted outreach to and interviews with competitors and customers during an FTC investigation. Drafted portions of a Merger Screening Memo. Participated in meetings with draftees of a Second Request.

Analyzed the effect of Lorenzo v. SEC on Rule 10b-5 and claiming deceptive acts thereunder. Analyzed the application of Omnicare v. Laborer's Dist. and its impact on the actionability of statements of opinion. Analyzed the imputation of scienter under Rule 10b-5.

Serving as the Arizona State University (ASU) West Campus Changemaker Director. Changemaker is an on-campus program that specializes in promoting community service, civic engagement, entrepreneurial innovation, and sustainability among its students both on-campus and into the greater community. The West Campus Changemaker Director oversees the ASU-wide operation in charge of service, and promotes the local Changemaker program to the current students and student organizations (i.e. Sun Devil Fitness Complex, Housing Department, Student Government). The West Director also brings the student community information on action grants, service opportunities, among other important opportunities. The West Director communicates regularly with fellow Directors and senior staff advisors on other ASU campuses to coordinate efforts to enact the University President's plans and initiatives related to community, civic, and entrepreneurial engagement and innovation.During my tenure: Created new marketing material. Planned and volunteered at the first university Change the World event. Instituted Google Drive and Slack for team use. Marketed and judged in the Community Action Grant Program that funded over $80,000 in projects in a year. Implemented a checklist for local event planning. Led push to get back to work virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic to help student workers with financial needs.

Serving as the primary lead of the two top elected officials in DeMolay International, guiding over twenty countries to greater success in membership, retention, education, and other primary functions of operation. The role includes solo travel to represent DeMolay at various events around the country and includes serving as the Chair of the International DeMolay Congress (held annually each June), running all operations as the primary lead. The role entails oversight of committees, and a commitment to developing long-term projects and programs to guide the DeMolay organization. This job is elected by the delegates of the youth-led International DeMolay Congress coming from all states in the United States, Brazil, Paraguay, Romania, Canada, Italy, Germany, Bolivia, and other countries abroad. The position has a duration for one year, and includes a Directorship on the DeMolay International Corporate Board of Directors.During my tenure, I traveled over 80,000 miles across 26 states, Brazil, and Paraguay, delivering speeches, running programs, and assisting local leaders of DeMolay Chapters and Jurisdictions. I introduced a complete app redesign, garnered $20,000 for a charity fund, led the organization to positive membership growth in 2017, instituted a Google Drive for better management, and helped obtain a $300,000 investment to create and implement a worldwide marketing campaign.

Serving as the Class VI, Active Member Representative to the 501(c)(3) Board of Directors for the corporate body, DeMolay International. The position includes quarterly meetings in August, October, March, and June to act as a fiduciary in discussing, voting, and planning the future of the organization at the Henry "Hank" E. Stickney Service and Leadership Center of DeMolay International in Kansas City, Missouri.
