Direct, coach and mentor rig management and functional heads to become better Visible (Safety) Leaders.Directly manage safety equipment budget based on project needs and timelines (Ordering, Receiving, Logistics, Inventory, etc.)Aid in the development of daily projects, timelines and consult withrig management on process safety.Develop relationships and build trust with rig management, functional heads and rig crews by initiating frequent safety related conversations.Monitor routine rig operations for strict compliance with Noble’s HSE Management System.Identify all sources of non-compliance (e.g. Visible Leadership, HSE Systems, Rig Safety Culture).Oversee all HSE training (competence) requirements for rig management, functional heads and rig crews. Oversee the application Skills XP (Internal Training / Planning Software) to capture all training / licensing certifications.Identify and communicate to the division HSE group any policies and procedures that are either unworkable or in need of revision.Promote hazards as energy sources and integrate into pre-tour / pre-job meetings.Aid in the alignment for daily operations based on the standard improvement cycle (PLAN – DO – CHECK – FEEDBACK).Coordinate the offshore orientation for all personnel boarding the rig.Act as the rig based Documentation control point to coordinate and oversee maintenance and revisions to all rig based documentation.Act as the medical focal point in the advent that the rig medic is required to leave the rig.
