As an Operations Coordinator for the Private Events department I facilitate event day communication between client and internal staff to ensure furniture set up, technical needs, housekeeping, and food and beverage are ready and properly placed. Before any event starts, I brief and manage guest services and security teams on event day to discuss number of guests, spaces being utilized, wayfinding paths, and other event information as it pertains to them. I also delegate any issues that arise during the event to its prospective internal department to ensure the event continuesto run smoothly and the client is satisfied with service throughout the duration. In addition, I send pre- and post-event communication to internal departments.

Working in this role, my responsibilities included coordinating the completion of several projects to maintain and enhance the venue such as extending the exterior fence, mapping out the locations of recycle and compost bins, and purchasing new furniture for Guest Services. On a daily basis I collaborated with the engineering, conversions, and housekeeping departments for maintenance needed throughout the stadium. I also worked all stadium major events as needed to assist with event preparation, coordination, and stadium shutdown.

As the Inbound Supervisor I manage all incoming shipments and make sure they are received and put away properly into reserve locations. With this, I manage a small team and their productivity through a Labor Management System. I also use a Warehouse Management System to fix any issues with inventory or with any task an associate is completing.

Within my internship, I have completed various projects such as creating a "help" button for the ERM department's online application, using Word to mock up changes to the department's website, and suggesting risk events based on the respective activity summaries. I also continuously communicated with the head of visuals to help add graphics from Tableau into the application.

As an Operations Intern, I was tasked with the 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) of their Kitting/Packaging area. I managed over $20,000 worth of materials to be able to provide the production lines with the proper equipment and put down a floor layout to standardize the flow of each line.

As a counselor, I provided a safe and fun environment for the campers. The ages of the campers I worked with ranged from 3-5 years old. This age group required a lot of hands on work and a constant energetic attitude. I always encouraged my campers to engage in activities and build relationships.

As a hostess, I was a welcoming face for each customer as they stepped into the restaurant. I was also in charge of relaying any messages from the customers to servers and manager. I learned the importance of customer service, and how to keep the customer happy, even when they may be upset about wait time, or the table they end up seated at.

As an intern, I worked on multiple projects such as calculating how many parking permits were being sold and their total profit, as well as conducting a vehicle utilization study in order to optimize resources. I also developed reports about budgets for OPRA.
