Hi! I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University who has spent over half of my life in the world of STEM. While my true passion lies in the world of engineering and design, I was born and raised with a business background. For that reason, I approach nearly every engineering problem with a business intuition. Rather than trying to decipher the exact mechanism I'm going to use to solve a problem, I'm starting with a plan: stakeholders, deadline, budget, and what my design actually needs me to accomplish. This mindset allows me to work in a fast, confident, and collaborative nature as I make every decision with an end goal in mind, and am not afraid to fail fast if the project permits. I always find myself combining disciplines my superiors never expect, and am therefore able to create new, innovative solutions that not only come together fast, but are uniquely viable. For that reason, I don't consider myself a typical Engineer, but rather a problem solver who can fill gaps on almost any team.

Project ManagerPurdue Electric Racing Sep 2023 - PresentWest Lafayette, Indiana, United StatesI started this role at the beginning of my sophomore year, where my responsibilities spanned across inter-department design, strategy, and development timelines, bridging gaps between teams that previously had no framework for collaboration. This year, I'm implementing a teamwide CRM system for project management and am designing the Pedal Box for the 2025 Competition Car. This role is dynamic, placing me in both design and administrative positions, allowing me to work quickly and effectively. The multidisciplinary environment has enabled me to contribute to system-level designs across multiple subteams. Additionally, I've gained extensive hands-on experience with CAD, FEA, 3D printing, and laser cutting. -
Drivetrain And Business Subteam MemberPurdue Electric Racing Aug 2022 - Sep 2023West Lafayette, Indiana, United StatesDuring my Freshman year, I was the only member of Purdue Electric Racing (PER) splitting a technical(powertrain) and non-technical committee(business). This has led me to a lot of opportunities and experiences for inter-disciplinary tasks that can benefit the team such as technical sponsorships, cross-team design collaboration, and cross-team scheduling.Additionally, I designed the fan shroud and other miscellaneous parts within the drivetrain subteam that were on the PER 23 competition car. -
Co-Op/Internship MentorPurdue Co-Op - Professional Practice Ambassadors Oct 2023 - PresentWest Lafayette, Indiana, United StatesIn addition to my own Co-Op, I help other students find Co-Ops and internships as well. Each semester, I am paired up with 1-2 student who I help create resumes, elevator pitches, and find clubs on campus that peak their interest, and may help them find and get hired in a role that is right for them after college. I also help them find companies that may be of interest to them from an industry, lifestyle, and cultural standpoint. In short, I help with anything and everything I can to get them where they want to be whether on a Co-Op, Internship, or after school and everything in between. -
Engineering & Account Management Co-OpKinetic Vision Jan 2024 - Aug 2024Cincinnati, Ohio, United StatesI worked in a ever-expanding position involving: - Project Strategy - Modeling & Simulation (FEA) - Python Programming (Custom Gen-AI Solutions, Data Processing, Web UI, etc.) - Account Management - Core Engineering/CAD - Sales - Project Management - (probably) moreI was able to combine all of my past experiences as a leader, as a manager, and as an Engineer in this role to accelerate projects and fill gaps in almost everything I worked on. It was fast paced often seeing a project go from an ideation call, to a pitch deck, to a work break down structure, to a purchase order in a single business day. A timeline that was only possible because I'm able to answer some of the complicated questions required to get a project out the door with my engineering background, but in a business context.Towards the end of my rotation, some of the projects I helped stand up ended up bringing me on as an engineer as well working in Ansys, Abaqus, and other simulation-oriented softwares. This is really unique from both an experience and efficiency standpoint as I'm able to incorporate business priorities into my engineering agenda with a great understanding of exactly what the client is looking for. Beyond that, I was able to jump around between several departments dipping my toes in engineering design, testing, and prototype manufacturing. I learned so much about it all, both in terms of technical skills, and figuring out the type of position I want to be in moving forward. -
Integrated Systems InternMiller Electric Company May 2023 - Aug 2023Orlando, Florida, United StatesI spent 8 weeks on-site at the all new Universal Theme Park seeing and experiencing the day-to-day operations of a 24/7, multi-thousand-person job site. When I arrived there, we were receiving an overwhelming amount of inventory on a daily basis and it was nearly impossible for one person to keep track of it all. During my time there, I helped streamline the inventory process with automated spreadsheets using Google App Script and general simplification of the existing process. While this wasn't necessarily a direct application of my education, it was an extremely valuable experience that I wouldn't have had otherwise. Rather than using information directly from my classes, I had to learn on the fly and find ways to apply my knowledge and intuition to create effective solutions to problems on a job site. Additionally, I never thought I'd work on a construction site let alone one of that scale. It was truly amazing to see all of those moving pieces work together and to work hand-in-hand with such a fundamental part of the US workforce. -
Freelance WriterSendcutsend.Com Apr 2022 - Jan 2023This is a remote job I started the summer going into college where I wrote articles for an online, on-demand manufacturing service that delivers custom parts to their client's doors. The majority of the articles are oriented around making the service easier to use for their clients by breaking down complex concepts involving the design and ordering process. I've also written guides to help customers make educated decisions on which materials to use for their projects since the service offers a wide array of metals, composites, and plastics. In regards to my responsibilities, I planned and wrote the articles in addition to creating my own media for them in an effort to make them as comprehensive as possible. -
Project Manager / Team LeadFirst Tech Challenge (Ftc Team 18172) Mar 2020 - May 2022Oviedo, Florida, United StatesI helped start a new, community-based, student-run FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team at the height of COVID in 2020. With the nature of it being student-run, I had to learn how to manage the team, manage funds, and acquire sponsors all while ensuring that the design team was producing a design that was both marketable and successful. This was a huge learning experience for me and ultimately has created the foundation for what I want to do in the future: blending business and engineering to create unique and viable solutions.

Solo Senior Design ProjectPaul J Hagerty High School Dec 2021 - Apr 2022Oviedo, Florida, United StatesI designed and programmed a walking Hexapod robot from the ground up to reignite my passion for design and engineering going into college. I had been out of touch with the design side of the industry for a few years so this project was intended to get me back into it. It was the first project I had done start to finish by myself allowing me to understand how I would manage a project if there were no external variables and I solely decided the criteria and constraints. Overall, the project came in on-time with a design-build period of 8 weeks and was under budget at $175 despite the infinitesimally small $200 starting budget. -
Modeling & Simulation Project Lead/ProgrammerPaul J Hagerty High School Sep 2019 - Jan 2022Oviedo, Florida, United StatesThrough high school, I was able to participate in a modeling and simulation program throughout all 4 years where I worked on a wide variety of projects involving everything from Autodesk Maya to C-Programming in Arduino. Over my final two years there, I led several VR-based projects where I was the sole programmer working on mechanics for a wide variety of simulations and Serious Games. While most of these projects never got to the point of release, they gave me a foundation in simulation, programming, and Unreal Engine that I would have never gained otherwise. -
Chief Engineer - Ftc 4227Paul J Hagerty High School Aug 2018 - Feb 2020Oviedo, Florida, United StatesComing into my freshman year of high school with 2 years of CAD experience under my belt from robotics in Middle School, I was asked to take on the Chief Engineer role on my first day at my high school robotics team. At 14 years old, this was both unexpected and really scary. Nonetheless, it was an incredible experience getting me into a role that required management and communication from a really young age. I was managing people that were 4 years older than me and had to report to my coaches who were 2-decade industry veterans. Through this role, I not only enhanced my design skills but also gained foundational knowledge for what my leadership and management style for later years would be like. Starting in management this young allowed me to make a lot of mistakes early on and understand if and how I wanted to run teams in the future. -
Freelance Web DesignerFreelance Mar 2018 - Mar 2022This was a summer job I started doing back in Middle School simply because I really enjoyed web design. Being able to blend computer code and writing to help people create a marketable website for their brand was a really exciting concept to me. While I don't actively pursue web design jobs anymore, I do take on jobs from time to time if someone approaches me. Most of my gigs were for individuals and small businesses who had difficulty grasping how to market themselves on the internet. Therefore, I end up not only building websites but also helping cultivate the content that goes on the sites as well to help create the most coherent image possible.
