I am currently an algorithms engineer at Base Power Company, leading behind-the-meter battery aggregation and trading in ERCOT.I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington in 2019 under the advisement of Baosen Zhang. Prior to my graduate studies I was a junior scientist at PNNL after having received my B.S. in Mathematics (2012) from the University of Maryland, College Park.My primary research interests are in the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to highly engineered systems, where design requirements and security or physical constraints require strong certificates of reliability.
