Responsible for formulating, coordinating, and executing the National Guard's Congressional policy and strategy. Develop comprehensive congressional engagement strategies for senior military leaders, and disseminate critical information on all major Congressional activities.

The Aide-de-Camp serves as the executive assistant on the personal staff of the Adjutant General (TAG) of the Missouri National Guard. Responsibilities include providing for TAG's personal well-being and security; planning, coordinating, and managing his daily schedule and travel requirements; keeping TAG informed of suspense dates and requirements; researching various issues arising to the level of the TAG; providing notes for meetings, background information for appointments, binders for organization and agendas for optimal time management. He provides TAG with instant informational awareness 24 hours a day, maintains the TAG Tasker System, and develops talking points for weekly staff meetings. The aide starts, facilitates and takes copious notes for meetings and office calls, while paying special attention to protocol in all settings to include ceremonies and awards presentations. He ensures TAG's uniforms and awards are correctly configured to ensure a professional military appearance. He functions as TAG's trusted advisor, courier and correspondent.

Serve as the Guard Officer Leadership Development (GOLD) Program OIC and Chair/Dean of the Department of Military Science for applicable University. Responsible for recruiting Soldiers and commissioning Officers into the Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG). Provide support to RRNCOs accession mission in the form of presentations, event support, and marketing items. Represent The Department of Military Science at all University events designated for department chairs. Duties include teaching, training, and mentoring Officer Candidates. Develop, change, and apply curriculum for a growing and diverse group of Officer Candidates in varying academic years and levels of military experience. Serve as the MOARNG point of contact on campus and within the local community. Counsel and assist MOARNG members with college enrollment and benefits. Responsible for the health, welfare and morale of all assigned personnel. Manage University and MOARNG budget and ensure accountability of $250K of OCIE and $15K of equipment. Responsible to the Administrative, Logistical and Training Readiness of all attached Officer Candidates. Responsible for pay, promotions, and all personnel actions for attached Candidates. Develop, Execute and Assess training schedules for IDT pay and annual training. Coordinate and execute two semi-annual Field Training Exercises and one Annual Training to assess 75+ Officer Candidates on OCS training requirements.

Command and Control of a Combat Support Military Police Company. Efficiently manage all available resources, provide for the health, welfare, morale, training, and logistical support and discipline of all assigned and attached personnel. Provide effective leadership and direction, ensure all personnel are trained and deployable for state and federal mission.

Battalion Adjutant for Military Police Battalion of more than 500 Soldiers. Advises Commander on Soldier and personnel readiness and strength levels of subordinate units. Reviews consolidated reports, statistics, applications, promotions, and officer evaluations. Prepares recommendations on personnel actions to higher headquarters. Reviews and prepares reports and data on strength (gains and losses) or personnel. Plans, develops, and directs personnel systems including strength and personnel accounting, casualty reporting, personnel requisitioning, awards and decorations, promotions and reductions, personnel evaluations, reenlistments and career management. Advises Commander and other staff members on personnel administration activities.

As member of Police Combined Action Team mentor and oversee daily actions at the Central Region Command of three Colonels responsible for over 13,000 Afghan National Police, 43 District level commands, and over $4 Billion Afghani in annual funds.
